Order of Strongest Memory
Bach - Prelude - keep tempo consistent, slower than before, be mindful of articulation always,

Bach - Fugue - dynamics at end, be mindful of bass voice on second page

Schubert 1 - be aware of bass; in development, isolate melodies in rh and lh to shape the phrases better; work on tempo and rubato at the ends of the exposition and recapitulation

Rach 6 - slow down first page, feel tempo before beginning; memory slip on bottom of third page

Schubert 3 - make LH active in theme 1 all throughout; feel consistent pulse and tempo throughout

Piston - bring out dissonances and shape phrases on p. 3; review top of p. 2 for memory

Rach 5 - check for memory at bottom of first page, bottom of second page, top of third page, and top of last page

Schubert 2 - notice the differences and similarities to help memorize

Debussy 4 - check for memory on bottom of 3rd page, top of 5th page, last couple systems

Debussy 5 - play slowly, looking at score always

Chopin - work on last two pages for memory; work backwards on 3 pages before; stare at score and listen to differences on "favorite part" on second page
